President Santa Claus
If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately, you’ve seen our “illustrious” President, Barack Hussein Obama, going around the country and bloviating about that, through his actions, people are receiving monetary benefits and goodies that only he, by his good nature and kind benevolence, can give them as the Emperor (oops, I mean President). It’s like he is the modern-day Robin Hood, taking money from the “rich” and giving it to the poor. This is right out of the Karl Marx playbook, the father of Marxism/Socialism. The major tenet of the Marxist/Socialist philosophy is “income redistribution”, taking from the have’s and giving to the have not’s. It is a failed economic system, which can be explained succinctly by that “Iron Lady”, the late Margaret Thatcher, former Prime Minister of Great Britain, who said:
“The trouble with Socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples money”.
This is where our “Liar in Chief” Obama comes in, he’s the present day Santa Claus giving out gifts to the many poor, lower middle income people, and “low information” voters, in hopes of getting their support come election time. It worked like a charm for him in the 2008 and 2012 elections. From his actions, it seems that he is very generous with other people’s money (our money, the taxpayers money), money which is not his own, but he thinks it is his to dole out as he sees fit (does the phrase “benevolent despot” come to mind?).
This pandering to the no-income and lower income people, appeals to the masses of people who are looking for something for nothing, (by the way, there are many more of these people than there are of the higher income people), but, as an offset, what affect will it have on the survival of our country as a whole? We can’t continue on the road to racking up massive deficits year after year.
An op-ed column by a Elmer T. Peterson, written in The Daily Oklahoman newspaper back in the year 1951, seems to sum up the dangers of this policy and mindset as it applies to us. He said:
“A democracy can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largesse out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, and then a monarchy”.
It seems we are headed in that direction as the people seem to like feeding on the national “teat” of Uncle Sam, which might eventually lead to our demise unless we “right the ship” and act in the best interest of the entire country and not just for the free-loaders (the takers) who want more and more “free” stuff from the government coffers.
So, yes, our leader, Barack Hussein Obama, should now take on the sobriquet of “President Santa Claus”, as that is what he has been blatantly been doing, by handing out goodies and freebies like free cell phones, easier rules and regulations to get government handouts, extending unemployment benefits to 99 weeks (from the usual 26 weeks), and special favors to the unions and political contributors, as president to gin up support for himself and the Democratic Party. If it continues like it has and the Republicans retreat in the face of adversity and a hostile media, we could witness another form of the demise of the Roman Empire, only this time it will be the Western Civilization that collapses.

MORT's meandinerings
What nerve! Can you just imagine the nerve of South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy, co-sponsoring a bill named, 'Enforce the Law Act', that requires the President of the United States to 'follow the law'? It was just passed by the U.S. House of Representatives. What nerve!
This so enraged our 'Dear Leader' that he announced he will veto it, if ever gets to his desk. Well, small chance of that happening, since the most-corrupt-Democrat in the history of the U.S. Congress, Dingy-Dirty Harry Reid, is currently the majority leader in the U.S. Senate. He sets the agenda and there's no way he would ever let this bill come to the floor for a vote.
So, not to worry President Barack Hussein Obama, you are the nation's first Black Muslim President and you have a pen and you have a phone. You also have the power to sign 'Executive Orders' that permit you to skip the inconvenience of consulting with the Congress in order to implement your hair-brained schemes calculated to resolve very real but, terribly inconvenient problems. So, the security, economic stability, individual freedoms and very survival of our nation and our traditional American way of life are at stake. So what? It isn't as if any of this will affect your golf game or intrude upon your busy schedule of luxurious family vacations, abroad. Priorities man, priorities.
The fact that the Legislature is also an equal in the 3-branch system of our Federal Government, shouldn't bother you either - anymore than the Constitutionality of your Executive Orders should give you pause. After all, being the first Black Muslim president and Santa Clause-in-Chief to the hardly-working Something-for-Nothing Crowd, does grant you special privileges no other President has ever enjoyed. Let's face it, none of your predecessors had your 'smarts', your inexperience, your chutzpa or, your direct connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. No other president has basked in the lowest approval-highest disapproval polls as you have. None of them. But, to quote your good friend, Her Royal Thickness, Hillary :- "What difference - at this point, does it make?"
So, go gettem, 'Dear Leader'. They can't touch you. You are Teflon. Call out your personal Homeland Security Army with their hoarded, billions of rounds of ammo. Call out your battalion of enablers; your legion of appointed Czars. Call out your loyal, Liberal-Progressive Democrats and Socialist thugs. Call out your hand-picked sexual deviates, fruits, nuts & weirdos you appointed to run our national security agencies. Call out the fund-raisers. Call all our former enemies, each of whom has realized by now, that he has nothing to fear from America's paper pussy cat. Each is laughing in your face at your cowardice and weakness as he makes his way to our Pentagon and Treasury Department to claim his Freebees-of-the-Day Specials. You've got it made, Dude.
If a STD doesn't getcha or Michele doesn't ketchya - eventually, God will. And Moe Hammid can't help you. But, I kinda think that Trey Gowdy isn't going to let you off the hook. I can't wait to hear how Judge Jeanine reports Sarah Palin's commentary when you fall on your Allahu Akbar face.
Cheers. 'Great One'.

Nobody Asked Me, but….. Part 9
* How can the State of New York put out ads, with a straight face, that businesses are welcome and should locate in the Empire State when they have the highest business and personal taxes in the country?
* How can the liberal media get all excited about Gov. Chris Christie and his “Bridgegate” problem (with no smoking gun as of now), but practically ignore the Fast & Furious, Benghazi, I.R.S., and NSA scandals?
* How can the “environmental wacko’s” continue to insist that “Fracking” for natural gas and oil is dangerous to our environment when Obama’s State Dep’t. has given its O.K. by stating that it is not a threat to our water supply or to the environment as a whole?
* How can potheads (people who regularly use marijuana) continue to claim that marijuana is a benign drug when most all reputable medical studies say that it is even more dangerous (mind altering) than tobacco smoke and just as addictive?
* How can the gay community continue to claim that if they “love” someone of the same sex, that that is enough reason to scrap thousands of years of the tradition of marriage being defined as a relationship between a man and a woman?
* How can some of those “barracuda” lawyers who “hawk” their legal services to citizens, on T.V. and in the press, to get on the SSI (disability) bandwagon, sleep at night knowing that most of their clients are not “really” eligible for those government benefits?
* How can Jos. A. Bank, the men’s clothier, stay in business with their ad claims of buy one suit and get three “free”, when it is obvious that the one suit purchased was over-priced in the first place to make up for the other freebies?
* How can the Justice Dep’t complain and bring a lawsuit against the various states that asks voters to present an I.D. in order to vote, when a person needs an I.D. to get on an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, check out a library book, or to collect a welfare check, without having a lawsuit filed?
* How come our government wants to spend more taxpayer money (or money borrowed) than we take in in government revenue, when our national debt is already in the hole for $17.5 trillion and rising rapidly?
* How can the government plan to get the unemployed workers work by granting them 99 weeks of unemployment checks without any requirement that they prove that gainful employment was diligently sought, but couldn’t be found?
* How can schools suspend students for taking an aspirin, or for a student who brought a plastic food knife in to cut their food, but the school can distribute condoms, and offer advice to students on how to get an abortion without their parents consent?
* How come you can get arrested for hunting or fishing if you don’t have a license, but not, in many states and cities, for entering the country illegally, and in addition giving them food stamps, housing and medical care?
* How can Obama and the Democrats vilify the rich about being greedy at a $40,000 a plate fund raising event to fill up their campaign coffers.
* How can the “rich” people (the top 10%) who pay almost 70% of all income taxes, be accused of not paying their “fair share” while 47% don’t pay any income taxes at all?
Maybe now, somebody will ask me?

HANS BRINKER OBAMA
Nine eleven, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac overseers Christopher Dodd and
Barney Frank, plus a congress gone uncontrolled on a spending spree blighted
President Bush's second term.
In the 2008 election campaign, the Democrat slogan was, "It's Bush's fault" that
still rings like tinnitus, in the ears of die hard progressives.
For them, Barack Hussein Obama personifies the Hero of Haarlem. The little
Dutch boy who saved his country by plugging up the hole in the dike with his
finger. He is their Hans Brinker. Barack promised to plug up the holes in our
economy and save America; but the problem is his miss management and
scandal ridden administration so riddled with holes that, except for the middle
one he shows to the people, he's running out of fingers trying to plug them.
However his one success is in exceeding President Bush, by putting the country
into deeper debt and losing our prestige and the respect of the world community.
He has also built an arsenal of Obama Bombs in his fight to turn the country
green.
The latest fiasco with his online affordable care enrollment scam is the last
straw that will break the socialist camel's back.
Caught in undeniable lies has shamed my liberal friends and backing him now has
become indefensible, alienating our relationships.
"President Obama, since I was a child, I read about Hans Brinker. I grew up
with Hans Brinker. Mr. President, you're no Hans Brinker!"

Are The Koch Brothers Evil Incarnate?
Many people don’t know who the Koch Bros. (pronounced “COKE”) are and why they get the liberals panties all twisted and knotted up upon the mention of their name? If their names are mentioned in the main stream media and by Democrats (mostly one in the same), you’d think that these brothers were people that should be in jail and that they are un-American to boot (according to Democratic Majority leader Harry Reid). What crimes or dastardly acts did these brothers commit to bring such condemnation down upon themselves?
Well, the fact that they are big donors to the Republican Party seems to be their greatest “sin” in life. God forbid (is it alright to use God in this context?) anybody gives money to the “evil” Republicans. What greater “sin” could anyone commit?
Yes, the Koch Bros. are big contributors to Republican and Conservative (and Libertarian) groups and causes, but isn’t that largesse to Republicans and Conservatives allowed under our Constitution and by Supreme Court decisions? All this vitriol and vituperation by the media and the Democrats about political donations by the Koch’s is bad, but donations by the unions, George Soros, Peter Lewis (owner of Progressive Insurance) are all well and good as they provide funds to the Democrats or other left-wing groups and causes. Is this not a blatant example of gross hypocrisy?
Let’s take a look at those “evil” Koch Bros. to see how “evil” they are. The brothers own Koch Industries (the 2nd largest privately owned company in the U.S.). The company employs 67,000 workers who rely on the Koch brothers for their livelihoods. The company generates $100 billion in revenue. In other words, they are extremely wealthy brothers who are responsible for the lives of many thousands of people whom they employ at above average wages. Is that ”evil”, but billionaires Soros and Lewis are pure and honorable in contrast to the Koch’s?
In a recent study, the Koch Bros. political contributions were 59th on the list of the biggest political contributors (both Democratic and Republican). The biggest political contributors were the trade unions and government employee unions (95% of those donations went to the Democrats). If that’s the case, why then the fear on the part of the left when it comes to the Koch brothers? Could it be that they have been very effective about who they support?
In addition to their political contributions, the Koch Bros. have contributed many, many millions of dollars to the following groups and organizations. Here are just a few: The Salvation Army; George Mason Univ.; the Manhattan Institute; the Univ. of Chicago; the Smithsonian Museum; the Young America Foundation; Utah State Univ.; the Pacific Legal Foundation; the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center; the American Ballet Theater in Lincoln Center in N.Y.C.; and that liberal bastion of thought, Columbia Univ. etc., etc., etc. Does that sound like “evil” donations to you?
On the other hand, the Koch naysayer’s, the media and the Democrats, venerate a self- admitted Nazi sympathizer during W.W. 11, George Soros, who has financed many left-wing groups and Democrats. In fact, during the presidential election of 2004, Soros spent close to $26 million of his own money to try to defeat George W. Bush (it failed). Here are some of the groups that Soros has funded: N.O.W. (Natl. Organization of Women); the Feminist Majority; Human Rights Watch; Move On .Org.; Planned Parenthood; etc., etc., etc. How come those donations to these groups aren’t considered “evil” like the Koch Bros. donations? Who are the real “evil” incarnates? Could it be the Democrats?

MORT's meandering
Attention:
Senate & House Republicans
It might just have escaped your notice, busy-busy people that you are but, there are those among you who have and who are enabling Obama to destroy this nation in every way possible. Had you noticed? Were you aware of that?
Have you talked with any of your constituents and asked them how they feel about your cave-in votes to take our economy over the cliff? Do you care to know?
Is the inexcusable treatment of our armed forces and our veterans - or the totally traitorous abandonment of national security along our borders of any interest to you?
Do you believe that no one is watching or that no one cares? Are you of the opinion that the Republican leadership in both houses is adhering strictly to the Conservative principles upon which the GOP is based and they are quite comfortable that they are faithfully standing by their sworn oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America? Does this factor at all into your voting decisions?
Do you give a damn about where you've permitted Obama and his anti-American administration to lead us? Or - and please forgive me if this question is simply too uncomfortable for you to answer - but, which do you now consider to be your top priority - - the future of this nation? - - or, your own political future? Can you be honest about this?
Frankly my dears, I don't expect any answers, much less honest ones - - but, you should know that if you can't or won't answer these questions in your own heart, with your own conscience as your guide - you can expect the voters who put you in the seat you are warming - to boot you out on your asses in November 2014.
That's a promise. Principled American people, many of whom are Tea Party patriots who love the Constitution and America as it was conceived, will not hesitate to let you know how they feel, in terms you can readily understand. Wake up (R)s !

Everybody Gets a Trophy
That seems to be the feeling of the “politically correct” crowd, especially when it comes to youth athletics. In order to not harm the self-esteem (so they say) of young athletes (or a child attempting to be an athlete), the P.C. police have deemed that everyone who participates in a sport, should get a trophy as a reward, just for participating. How absurd!
This might also be called the “Wussification of America”, as the incentive to excel is made meaningless if everyone gets a trophy. The cry of the liberals over the years is that we should “level the playing field”, which means every player should have an “equality of outcome”. What a more destructive way can there be to not reward competence, skill, and effort. Our country was founded and thrived on the principle of incentive to succeed with the result of monetary compensation. That’s why we are the pre-eminent country of the world, regardless of what our President Barack Hussein Obama thinks.
Once you take out incentive to succeed, you take the heart out of an individual or country and you become mediocre, not exceptional. It seems we are heading down the path of mediocrity.
Look at our schools, which at one time was the envy of the world, now many countries surpass us in educational competence. Math and science seem to have taken the biggest hit over the last few decades. It seems we are “dumbing down” our schools and society, our literature and cinema, and our news and culture. This obsession of the theory that everyone must be “equal” in income, talent, knowledge, and social status, is killing us as a nation.
Two areas of our society that does not seem to be affected is in professional sports and entertainment. Sometimes the obscene salaries of the players and coaches of sports teams, and Hollywood stars, which seems to multiplying year after year, but there is nary an outcry from the public. We don’t seem to want equality in our sports teams or our Hollywood idols, we want winners and we seem to accept the multi-million dollar salaries we pay them in order to get those winners. The incentive in athletics is to do better than the other guy and that it is what drives the athletes, and it has paid off for them financially and for their fans.
Why don’t we carry this striving for excellence to every facet of our lives. Our capitalistic, free enterprise system demands excellence and innovation as opposed to the Marxist/Socialist template of “equal poverty for all” or as Winston Churchill once opined, that Socialism is the philosophy of “the equal sharing of misery”
Yes, there will be losers and winners, as it has been since time immemorial, but in our society and culture, everyone has the opportunity to succeed, and yes, fail, but the incentive to succeed and reap monetary rewards is what drives us (or most of us) to succeed in life.
No, not everybody should get a trophy, unless it is earned by hard work, skill, and perseverance, the hell with artificially pumping up a persons self-esteem (ego) by giving him/her a trophy just by showing up and breathing. We all need an incentive to succeed, and then we’ll get a trophy.

IT ALL BECOMES CRYSTAL CLEAR
Saul
Alinsky . . .
Born: Saul David Alinsky, January 30, 1909, Chicago, Illinois
Died: June 12, 1972, Carmel-by-the-Sea, California
Education: University of Chicago, Ph.B. 1930, University of Chicago Graduate School, criminology, 1930–1932.
Occupation: Community organizer, writer, political activist
Notable works: Reveille for Radicals (1946); Rules for Radicals (1971)
Awards: Pacem in Terris Award, 1969
Saul David Alinsky(January 30, 1909 – June 12, 1972) was an American community organizer and writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing. He is often noted for his book Rules for Radicals. From that book here are Saul's thoughts on how to create a social state:
There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.
1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people
2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)
6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.
Any of this sound familiar?

Today is not the 1930's
There is a difference between today's recipients of government assistance
and the ones I witnessed in my youth who were on relief during the 1930's.
My first hand experience was urban and not second hand reading, about
the plight suffered by those trapped in the dust bowls of our country.
We were in a deep depression and from what I remember, although my
family as well as so many others, were not in dire straights, but on the
cusp of government support, and never a part of it because of pride,
dignity and ethic. The truly destitute were in desperate need, and only
a few unqualified schemers ever thought of working the system to cheat
the government and the needy out of their portion, grabbing what was
not due them.
Recipients of the bare necessities for survival, didn't demand or claim
society owed them. They were humble and grateful, not entitled.
If a true assessment was to be made at the present state of giveaways,
I know it will show a disproportionate of the populous are not qualified
to meet the criteria of the '30s, because many fit the description of
dead beats and foreigners residing in the states who entered illegally,
availing themselves of our infrastructure and welfare system.
I heard and encountered cases where individuals with incomes above
poverty level, boasted about playing the system to acquire Obama phones,
food stamps, subsidies and other freebies.
I'm aware there are truly needy people due to circumstance who don't
require my apology, knowing my criticism isn't directed toward them.
It is acknowledgment of their needs for private and government assistance,
but as most government programs, they end up going beyond original
purpose, adding politic goodies, expanding budgets and taxes unnecessarily.
President Barack Obama's changing America is a doomed experiment
falling by the wayside as did other forms of unbenevolent societies. He goes
about like Typhoid Mary, unaware of the contamination and destruction his
ideology is causing. If he is not restrained, the middle class will perish.
As a young lad, I could hardly wait for the future. It held unimaginable
fascination and hope. For me, the future has come and it is now. Because
of who we entusted it with, I don't like it!
Many will say I'm an angry old man and they will be right! I am angry to see
what my beloved country is turning into.
