ALL TALK AND NO ACTION

That seems to be the prevailing feeling of the electorate of the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. Never have we seen a president spend so much time campaigning after he has already won the election. It seems like everyday he is on the T.V. or radio trying to convince the populace that his policies are the one’s they should support, and then he complains that he has failed to articulate his policies properly, which has caused the election debacles of Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. How come the “most gifted” orator of the modern times (according to the Obamamaniacs) couldn’t communicate with the voting public? He still can’t see that it might be his policies that are causing the angst of the American people and of his over-exposure in the media, and it’s not his empty words of trying to explain his ill-conceived policies to people who see through the façade of what he has to say. You could say that the old adage of, “Familiarity breeds contempt” might also be in play in evaluating his dismal performance after his 1st year as President. People are sick and tired of seeing him pontificate practically everyday of the year. Enough is enough.

During the campaign leading up to the election of 2008, Baruch Hussein Obama, although being labeled the most liberal Senator in the Senate, ran a campaign of being a moderate with a slight tilt to the right on fiscal matters. He actually came across as more conservative than his opponent John McCain on quite a few issues. It came to be said that you should never listen to what Obama said or was saying, but watch what he does. It reminds one of the slight of hand artist that gave the illusion of doing something magical. As I said in one of my previous editorials, he is all “smoke and mirrors”. He would make a terrific “Three Card Monty” scam artist.

One could argue that politics always brings out the obfuscation that politicians use to try to appeal to the voting public, but Obama has refined that to professional standards. It seems to have worked well for him during the campaign, but once he arrived in the White House and had to make decisions without a core philosophy, except to “transform” the United States as we know it, and to use Europe-style socialism as the model to be followed, the people revolted as shown by the grass-roots popularity of the Tea Party movement and the protesters at the Town Hall meetings last summer and fall. All Obama and his cronies could do in response was to mock these people by calling them names like “rednecks”, “tea baggers”,
“Nazi’s” etc., etc. Even the people of Massachusetts rejected that depiction and jumped on the anti-Obama bandwagon by electing Scott Brown to the Senate against all odds.

It’s almost like Obama is the front man for some sinister anti-Americans who want to diminish the United States in the eyes of the world. Some might even claim that he was the “Manchurian Candidate” and now is the “Manchurian President”. It seems that someone is pulling his strings. What else would explain why he is still hell-bent on trying to push his agenda even in the face of polls showing that the people are not buying what he is trying to sell? Look at his friends and associates who he surrounds himself with. Most all are life-long radicals (Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Andy Stern of S.E.I.U.), professed communists (Van Jones, Bill Ayers), and anti-Capitalists (Cass Sunstein, George Soros) etc., etc., many of whom have been appointed as czars in his administration.

So, we must be vigilant as to what the Saul Alinsky (author of “Rules for Radicals”) trained President is trying to do and we must fight it at every turn so that the “talk” does not become the “action” that will destroy our country as we know it. The “Founding Fathers” must be turning over in their graves?

Remember the expression that "it smells like a rat" when you see or hear something that doesn't seem to be what it is? Well, you might want to apply that expression to the policies of Obama and his gaggle of Chicago misfits. It just doesn't meet the smell test and his policies should be shot down ASAP in order to save our great country from becoming like a third-world basket case, ala Venezuela, Nicaraugua and Haiti.

Chuck:

Sometimes talk is better than action. After reading Obama's latest tax proposals I hope this is all talk and no action is taken. Only an idiot would propose massive tax increases when we are facing an economy such as we have today.

I guess it's wrong to think that this country is run by "We the People". We absolutely have no say in what goes on or where our money goes. They make up a tax and we have no choice but to pay it and if we don't like it and don't want to pay we will be in big trouble.
