This is a blog that tries to appeal to the average conservative citizen and has no agenda other than telling the truth as we see it.

Do we really want a government bureaucrat like the one's who are running Amtrak, the Post Office, the Motor Vehicle Bureau, Social Security, Medicare, and Katrina etc., running our health care program? If you want to see waste, incompetence, and inefficiency, then by all means put the government in charge of managing that program that makes up one sixth of our economy. The government has a role to play and that is in the area of oversight, not the actual operation of the program itself. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, those prophetic words are never more apropos than today in our health care debate.
