What’s the Real Motivation Behind the “Obamacare” Mess?

For years, the Democrats have been pushing for a government-run health care system modeled after England, Canada, and some European countries. Obama and his cronies, knowing that he couldn’t get his Marxist/Socialist agenda passed through the objections of the American people at this time, proposed a back door method of attaining that goal by proposing a “loser” law called Obamacare (a/k/a the (Un)Affordable Care Act). Their future goal was and is a single-payer health care plan run by the government (which comprises 1/6 of the U.S. economy).

Obama, being the dishonest politician that he is, tried to hide his motives by telling the American people that his health care plan would save them money, with a semblance of the “free market”, with private insurance companies providing the means of delivery. As you can see, the plan is not taking hold the way he and the other Democrats said it would work, and being the “narcissist” that he is, he will not admit that it is his fault, instead he is starting to blame the insurance companies and the Republicans for its imminent failure - it’s always somebody else’s fault, never his fault.

According to my scenario, when Obamacare crumbles, he will propose that instead of abandoning Obamacare and starting over, he will propose that the U.S. government should take over the means of giving the U.S. citizens health care by using a “single-payer” system like they have in the predominantly Socialist oriented countries mentioned previously. That has been Obama’s and the liberal Democrats goal all along. All the movers and shakers in the Democratic Party have been championing “single-payer” for many years, so when they captured the White House and both houses of Congress in 2008, they went for the kill, and by some shady dealings and arm-twisting of reluctant Democrats, they passed Obamacare in the dead of night without one Republican vote in either the House or Senate.

The ensuing lawsuits, after passage, claiming the law unconstitutional, made it all the way up to the Supreme Court where it looked like the court was going to knock the law down by a 5-4 vote. Up till that time, Obama claimed that penalizing non-compliers of the law was a fee and not a tax, which the opponents of the law proclaimed was why the law should be declared unconstitutional. By some freak of logic, the court ruled, with Chief Justice Roberts casting the deciding vote, that the charges for non-compliance were in fact taxes and, therefore the Congress could pass that legislation. The court ruled 5-4. In hindsight, we can blame the fickle Chief Judge Roberts, with putting us in the morass we now find ourselves. What was he thinking?

It’ll be just a matter of time, when the present Obamacare law implodes, and the Democrats will be proposing a full government takeover of our healthcare system using “single-payer” as the means administering it. Remember that has been their goal for over 100 years.

In order to get rid of this monstrosity, next years mid-term elections zoom as being pivotal in possibly getting rid of it, not just amending it as some suggest. In addition, some other lawsuits are plodding their way through the courts that could throw a monkey wrench into the law succeeding.

Of course, with ominous clouds of defeat hanging over the heads of some Democratic lawmakers coming up for re-election and having the albatross of Obamacare hanging around their necks, they might rise up and demand that Obamacare be repaired or discarded in hopes of saving their chances at election time.

So if you want to get rid of Obamacare, you must work hard to defeat those Congressmen and Senators, in 2014, who voted in favor of this monstrosity of a law. That’s the first step before the next presidential election in 2016.
