What happened?

Toward the end of the 19th century (1892), was the beginning of a unique emporium,
later located at Madison Ave. and 45th St. in Manhattan, that outfitted and catered
to a discriminating and adventurous clientele. Among them was Teddy Roosevelt,
Robert Peary, Ernest Hemingway, Amelia Earhart, the Duke of Windsor, Katherine
Hepburn, Clark Gable and other presidents and people of note, plus yours truly.
Abercrombie & Fitch was a landmark that fell in disgrace when The Limited took
over and dismantled an icon, replacing it with sickly fashions and advertising.
It doesn't make a difference what you pick off their rack. That item can be worn
by either sex.

This once unique store lost its identity as progressives are working to eliminate
the differences between sexes. Straying from political correctness, I see
it as a change from rugged to pansy.

There is a reason God created two opposite entities called male and female. Each
has its place and functions that follows throughout nature. In proper company
parlance ........the birds and the bees.

What is wrong in the world are persons who want to change this order. They are not
God nor nature to want to change or disturb the order, but pervasive bungling fools.
As a friend put it, they are seeking acceptance and approval for a kinky life style.
I may reconsider my view on same sex marriage when the male species can menstruate
and the female is concerned about her erectile dysfunction.

If we allow Hollywood, rappers, Ad men, Marxist academia and their likes more
leeway, there will be more Abercrombie & Fitch's in the future, falling by the
wayside and we will wake up one morning and say, "What happened?"
