Fool Me Once............!

The full quote is, “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me”. The meaning behind this saying is that you should learn from your mistakes and not allow people to take advantage of you repeatedly.

That being the case, one thing comes to mind, anybody who voted for Obama in 2008 because of his promise of “Hope and Change” and his soaring scripted rhetoric, when it was all just smoke and mirrors, fall into that category. Shame on Obama for deceiving the majority of the voters by electing him president, but if those same people vote for his “snake oil” again, shame on them. That would validate Albert Einstein's definition of insanity which was, “Doing the same thing over again and looking for a different result”.

Does party loyalty trump common sense? What else could it be if you look at what the situation is in our country today? With our economy and foreign policy in disarray , why would any sane person vote for that false prophet Barack Hussein Obama again?

To listen to the Obamamaniacs, you'd think our economy was booming and that it was just “tough luck”, beyond his control, that has slowed the Obama recovery (is this the “Summer of Recovery – Part Two?”). It is never his fault, it is always somebody or something else's fault that throws a monkey wrench into his great plans for our economy. His “great” and articulate Vice-President Joe Biden once said that this administration's main concern is a three-letter word – JOBS (isn't that a 4-letter word, oh well, that's just Joe). Instead of making a new speech on the topic of jobs, why doesn't he re-cycle his many other speeches that he has made over the past two years on the same topic of jobs. He has said he is losing sleep thinking about the subject of jobs - with his lack of success in fostering policies that would create jobs, he must be sleep deprived and in need of another vacation soon. His “Stimulus” plan has been an abject failure especially after he tried to claim that this money was going to finance “shovel ready” jobs which he later admitted wasn't shovel ready. I guess the only thing shovel ready was the shoveling of the horse manure that he created with his soaring rhetoric?

His record on job creation since his inauguration in Jan. 2009, has been abysmal – unemployment is stuck on over 9% (16% in real terms) and many businesses have gone belly-up all across the country thereby laying off many workers in the process. It seems like he and his Administration don't have a clue as to how to reverse this steady downturn. All he knows is to demonize the rich and demand that they pay their “fair share” (by raising their taxes) even though the top 10% of of income earners pay 70% of the income taxes while the bottom 47% of wage earners pay 0% income taxes. Where's the fairness? A perfect example of class warfare which is the Democrats modus operandi in solving economic problems.

So if you voted for Obama in 2008 because he sold you a bill of goods, shame on him for being duplicitous, but if you vote for him in 2012, shame on you for being stupid.

Will somebody please tell the Libs that you don't jump start a sick economy by raising taxes? Even if you taxed all the "rich" people at a 100% rate, you wouldn't be able to lower the deficit - it's all smoke and mirrors and an obvious political ploy by Obama to appeal to the 47% of the people who pay no income taxes at all. Who is really undermining our economy, the Democrats or Republicans? If you said the Democrats, you would be correct. Don't let this faker in the White House fool you again, if you were fooled in 2008, our country is at stake.

Reports show Independents and Conservatives want a Pro-Business Leader. All signs show People are tired of the road that we are going down now.
