In this day and age of the high-speed internet and instantaneous news from around the world on our T.V.’s and newspapers, you still find people who rely on the time-worn epithet of “racism” to attempt to stifle debate about a whole litany of issues that affect us all, which really shouldn’t have any racial connotation at all.
I’ve heard recently that the reason people are against “Obamacare” is because he is “black” and therefore you must be racist to be against what he is trying to shove down our throats. As a person who fits into the category of opposing the policies of Obama, I must therefore, be a racist, as defined by the zealots who support Obama and drink the Kool-Aid to excess.
Remember, just a short time ago, Professor Gates of Harvard had a run-in with Sergeant Crowley of the Cambridge Police Department. Being a “Black Studies” professor and a racial militant, Professor Gates tried to turn an innocent encounter with the police into a full-fledged racial incident. He accomplished what he set out to do, but in the end it came back to haunt both he and Obama bigtime. The average person saw right through that bogus charge of “racism” and roundly condemned what the Professor and Obama had tried to incite. Remember, the Obama Administration was supposed to usher in an era of “post racial” harmony, but events showed what it really was, “reverse racism” perpetrated by the same people who tended to throw that term out, in the past, to stifle the exchange of ideas in the marketplace of ideas.
The “Rhyming Reverends” of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have been using the “race card” for decades in shaking down businesses and companies all across the country. Whenever they want or need money, they look for instances and happenings that will give them the opportunity to yell racism, whether it is real or not. Of course, they count on the fact that the “white man” has a lot of pent up “white guilt” that has been drilled into his psyche over the years, so he goes along with the “shakedown” because he doesn’t want to labeled a racist. The “race card” was used successfully in those instances.
Well, I for one will not be “tarred and feathered” with that term “racist” when discussing policies I disagree with Obama on. I couldn’t care less if he is black, green, yellow, red or whatever, I don’t want his insane policies to succeed which will bankrupt our economy and lead us into the destructive path of socialism and government control.
So, don’t use the “race card” on me because it shows that the person making that charge probably knows what racism is all about by the way he has conducted his own life in the past. He/she should look in the mirror to see the real “racist”.

Obama and his looney supporters were well-prepared to play the "race-baiter card" before the primaries began, launched it with a vengeance when Obama ran into problems after his losses in New Hampshire & Nevada.
Attacks against W and Laura Bush weren't called mean-spirited and dangerous or racist.
It was open season especially by the MSM and Comedians. Obama and his 57 states are a gaffe frenzy however MSM loves Marxist
Typical liberal, do as I say not as I do !
This guy is far and away the most narcissistic, egotistical racist that ever was elected. The office of POTUS always meant class, dignity and respect. This guy has totally trashed that. He is an embarrassment to America .I only hope there are still some pieces of the country left to pick up in 2012 when this guy is gone
According to liberals, preferential treatment, unjust advantages, special considerations and an inside edge are all bad if they favor you, but wonderful if they favor them.
